- New York Jardim

Details

The neighborhood of West Chelsea offers endless opportunities for exploring the culture of New York’s diverse art and food scene. One of West Chelsea’s most luring points of interest is the 1.45-mile-long elevated High Line park, where viewing the surrounding architecture is a fundamental part of the experience. With buildings both old and new, large and small, industrial and residential, the juxtaposition of these elements provides an exciting viewing experience to locals and visitors alike.

Breaking into the New York market with an essence of Modernist sensibility, Brazilian architect Isay Weinfeld embraces the great outdoors with his 11-story High Line condo, Jardim. Behind the design of residential projects, hotels, shops, and restaurants around the world, Weinfeld brings his talent for integrating an organic energy into his debut project in New York.

Portugese for garden, Jardim, seamlessly captures indoor-outdoor living – featuring floor to ceiling windows, spacious terraces, and approximately 8,000 square feet of garden space between the 27th and 28th street towers of the 36-unit complex. Co-developed by Centaur Properties and Greyscale Development Group, Jardim is skillfully secluded from the city’s street life. The entrance is accessed via a private driveway which brings residents to a private oasis. Along with the extensive outdoor space, residents can enjoy amenities including a skylit indoor pool, fitness studios, and massage treatment rooms.

The Molteni Group has brought Weinfeld’s bespoke designs to life with 36 custom kitchens in the condo’s one- to four-bedroom units. Dada’s Hi-Line 6 kitchens compliment the serenity of the interiors with cabinetry, wall, and ceiling panels in natural oak veneer. Accenting the warm wood are islands and countertops in stainless steel.
