    Surrounded by the fairytale landscape of Lake Orta, the San Rocco Hotel offers a responsible form of tourism geared to respecting the local area’s resources and eco-system. The facility has recently undergone refurbishment based on the use of renewable energy sources.

It includes state-of-the-art minimalist hi-tech functions and all the latest technology without foregoing any of the cosy, intimate atmosphere that distinguishes the hushed rooms of the former time-honoured convent. Completely re-designed, the guest rooms re-interpret the austere simplicity of the nuns’ cells with the sober elegance of the contemporary design and the comfort of innovative energy-saving solutions. The new suites develop four different themes: nature, water, technology and the Bishop’s room.
